Creating opportunities and creating joy

Wheatley Farms is part of AHRC Nassau’s Day Habilitation Program, creating employment opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to connect with their passions while engaging the local community.

Promoting healthy, meaningful lives

All activities at Wheatley Farms, including both horticultural therapy and culinary training, are designed to enhance self-esteem, foster language and communication, promote stress reduction, and create connections in the community.
